Hello all, I hope you are enjoying a look around the website.
I live with my wife, Fiona on the edge of the Lake District National Park, Cumbria and we both have a passion for the great outdoors, the environment and the natural world and beyond, wherever we find ourselves - Day and night!
I am NOT a photographer! I am a bloke with a nice camera, in fact several nice cameras which have some very specific uses, but no specific training or qualifications. Indeed some of the content on here has been taken using the phone camera such is the quality of modern phone cameras. What you see on here is what I like, what friends and family have commented favourably upon and in some instances what I wanted to just have a go at. In the future I hope to give a little more information on the blog page about our past and future travels, astrophotography and its techniques, the specialist cameras and anything unusual that comes along.
